The Signature Session is my trademark experience, occuring outdoors at sunrise or sunset.

One of the key pieces of creating photos you will love is finding a great location with flattering light. I love to immerse people in nature with their loved ones to enhance the magic of people connecting. I have a handful of favourite locations where I love to shoot. When choosing my locations I look for ease of access, a beautiful outlook, flattering lighting and as much privacy as possible. Together we will pick the the right location for you based on your vision for your session.
During the shoot I will guide you into natural poses and encourage exploration and play.

I offer my full client closet for my sessions, including an extensive selection of women’s dresses and kimonos, plus rompers and wraps for infants.

styling your session

I work closely with my clients to guide them in their outfit choices leading up to their shoot.

My philosophy with styling is that the clothes should flatter the wearer and add romance and movement to the photos, without distracting too much from the connection between the subjects.

I offer an exclusive face to face styling consultation for every session; for an outdoor session this will usually occur on a seperate date prior, for a studio shoot it will occur immediately prior to your shoot.

I will help you put together every piece so that you look and feel good. You also have complete access to my extensive client closet options for women, babies and infants.

Can we have our family dog in our photos?

I am a huge fan of dogs and will always incorporate them into your shoot wherever possible. Lets talk.

How many people can we include in our photos?

My standard rates include up to five people (which can be either immediate or extended family members, or friends). I don’t do professional headshots or business places as I prefer to capture meaningful connections between people. Larger groups will be considered on individual application & may incur extra fees.

HOW DOES CLIENT CLOSET WORK? DO I GET TO CHOOSE? IS THERE ANY EXTRA COST & AM I REQUIRED TO DRY-CLEAN THE ITEMS AFTER WEAR?

I provide an extensive range of women’s dresses and kimonos as well as baby rompers and wraps for the exclusive use of my clients. I do not charge extra for them and I do not hire them out to other photographer’s clients. I steam all items before and after wearing, and as many of them are delicate items I prefer to handle the washing process myself. You are not required to wash them. My current process involves a face to face meeting at my in-home studio with clients prior to their shoot to plan wardrobe options. I have a small number of young children’s clothes up to age 5.

Will You Help Me Style The Whole Family?

Yes! My session experiences include a complimentary styling consultation where I will help guide your outfit choices for the whole family.

How will I receive my images?

Images are delivered via online gallery within 4-6 weeks of your shoot. Once you have selected your images they will be made available to you for download in both low and high resolution. USBs are available on request only and will not be provided routinely.

Where will my newborn photo shoot take place?

In the past I have travelled to peoples home for their newborn shoots, however since setting up my inhome studio I have found that this works very well both for my clients and for me. A more extensive range of wardrobe items and accessories can be selected from and scenes can be tailored to the individual. The un-necessary stress of preparing your home for a photo shoot is also removed. Just turn up with your baby and let me dress you both. Whilst I encourage newborn shoots to be held in the studio, I still may schedule an in home session if you have a large family, a particular sentimental connection to your property or animals you also want captured.
