my philosophy on family photos
I believe that family photos deserve to be every bit as special and treasured as photos you might take on a wedding day (if you have one). The bond you share with your loved ones is timeless and one day just the memory of holding them in your arms will pull at the heart strings. Let me capture the beauty of those moments with the ones you hold most dear.
I love to keep family photo shoots light hearted and fun. Let’s not take it too seriously, but rather treat it as a rare opportunity to cast your devices aside and be present. Your loving attention is honestly the best thing you can bring to your session. Snuggle, play, chase and love as hard as you can. I will give you as much direction as you need.

Client closet
Styling is one of the most important elements of my sessions and helps achieve the dreamy cohesive look you see in my images. With my signature session I offer face to face styling consultations preshoot and access to my extensive client closet for Mums and bubs. I’ll give you lots of tips for dressing the rest of the family too so that nothing distracts from your togetherness in your images.
During the session
During your session you can relax and just enjoy your time with your family. I strive for connection and candid images so I will help guide you into relaxed “poses” that allow you to simply connect and interact with your family in ways that feel comfortable and natural. During our time together, you don’t have to worry about a single thing except being together and connecting with your loved ones.
After the session
Once your gallery is delivered you have access to some of my beautiful heirloom print products including my locally-made handcrafted frames. I have personally selected the highest quality and most eco-friendly, sustainable products that I could source for your completed artworks.
