A Newborn Adventure in the North | Hobart Lifestyle Photographer

Verity and Dan are both fellow GPs, based in the opposite end of our island state. When Verity reached out I was super excited to capture both her pregnancy and newborn photos. However, as it turned out Verity delivered early and missed out on her maternity shoot and all of the grand plans I had in store for her session. By coincidence, I had two medical colleagues booked for maternity shoots at 36 weeks, a month apart, and they both happened to deliver early, one just before and one just after our scheduled session. I now encourage everyone to book in by 34 weeks, just incase. It was so lovely to finally meet this sweet couple and their beautiful baby August. We started at home then headed out to the Tamar Wetlands for some outdoor shots amongst the long grass. If you are interested in a combination of indoor and outdoor shots yes it is definitely possible. I hope to capture more milestones for them in the future.
